What is Soft Washing?

Softwashing is becoming more popular. It’s a gentler way of cleaning so perfect for less-robust surfaces like walls, render, roof tiles, and cladding. It can also be used on garden patios as a long term means to remove unsightly stains.

Often pressure washing alone doesn’t remove stubborn marks and is too harsh to apply to roof tiles, nor will it kill moss spores and algae.

By carefully applying a mixture of chemicals and then applying them at low pressure, not only does it gently clean up your exterior but it prevents regrowth from all organic growth.

What is the difference between soft washing and pressure washing?

Soft washing is when low-pressure water combined with specialist solutions are applied to an exterior surface to eradicate unsightly stains. Because the low-pressure water is combined with chemicals, the regrowth of algae and moss can be delayed for months and even years. Soft washing can dramatically improve the look of the exterior of your home, the results usually lasts for between 12 months and five years.

Soft washing is a much gentler process than pressure washing.
